10 GOLDEN PERLS OF WISDOM FOR STUDENTS

At an educational event held at a school, Ratan Tata shared these 10 golden advice of wisdom that no school or college will ever teach you. Go ahead, get inspired!

(1) Ups & downs are important.

Up and downs in life are very important to keep up going, because a straight line even in an ECG machine means we are not alive. It would be better if you get used to these ups and downs in life as soon as possible. Things will never remain the same. Day will come after the night and vice versa. Learn to go with the flow and to make best of any situation.

(2) Prove yourself.

The world won’t care about your self-esteem. So first go and prove yourself.

(3) Nothing is free.

Don’t think about getting high paying job as soon as you complete your college education. No one can become CEO of the company in one night. For that you need to work damn hard and you need to acquire ocean of knowledge.

(4) Teacher is better than boss.

Do you think that your teachers are strict, scary and dangerous? Then wait until you meet an animal called “Boss”. Your old teachers will pale in comparison.

(5) Your mistakes are yours.

You, and only you, are responsible for your mistakes. Don’t blame others for those mistakes. Learn from your mistakes and move forward. Don’t get yourself stick to there.

(6) Your parents were not boring.

Do you feel that your parents are boring? Your parents were not so monotonous and boring before you were born. They took so much trouble in your upbringing that their nature is changed.

(7) No second chance.

Consolation prizes are given only in school. You can appear for re-exam in school if you are failed. But in real life, the rules are different for those who fail. There are No second Chances for Losers. You can never get this time back once it is gone.

(8) You won’t have any teacher in the real life.

In real life, there are no such things like classroom and periods. You even don’t get long vacations in real life. You even won’t get teachers! You have to rely on yourself and teach yourself.

(9) Come out from virtual life.

The life which is being shown on the television is not reality and the life is not a TV serial. In real life, there is only work and work. Have you ever thought why luxurious car companies (like Jaguar, Hummer, BMW, Audi, and Ferrari) don’t show their advertisements on television? Because they know that person who is going to buy such costly cars will never have time to sit in front of television.

(10) Be humble to everyone.

Being studious is not bad. Don’t tease your friends who are studious and hard working. There may come a time when you will have to work under them. There are no synonyms of hard work. Time will do its magic.
